Local agricultural producers are more inclined to invest in the renewal and maintenance of existing equipment than to purchase brand new or used ones. This is demonstrated by the result of a study conducted jointly by Avito.ru and Aurora Agro Parts (www.aa-p.ru). There is a clear trend towards an increase in the service life of equipment: farmers have begun to handle it more carefully, naturally, the need for spare parts and maintenance is growing. According to the Avito.Ru portal, this year the demand for parts has increased 7 times compared to last year, in turn, the supply has increased by almost 90%. The top ten cities with a record increase in demand for parts for agricultural machinery included settlements from regions with the most developed agricultural sector.

According to analytics collected from the Pole.ru platform, there is a 7-fold increase in the interest of agricultural producers in spare parts for agricultural machinery in 2024. Shoppers now prioritize the optimal and, more importantly, secure method of purchasing components through portals. In this way, it is immediately clear who is the manufacturer of the spare parts, and at the same time comprehensive support is provided, from the selection of components to the dispatch of the purchase. In addition, the trend is the leasing of new agricultural machinery, the demand for which is growing seven times annually, especially taking into account state support.

According to information collected from the Avito.ru portal, at the beginning of 2024, about 145000 applications for the sale of spare parts for agricultural machinery in the Russian segment were submitted on this online platform. Of this volume, more than 118,000 applications concerned the sale of brand new spare parts. The most popular positions in the country this year were attachments, platforms, booths, bodies, as well as components of pneumatic systems. The manager of the thematic section «Spare parts» on Avito says that against the backdrop of the course for import substitution, the agricultural sector is showing rapid growth and has identified a growing need for equipment, machinery, specialists and components.

Previously, the analysis of the Rosspetsmash Association noted a decrease in the volume of tractor production in the Russian Federation this year. According to statistics from the Ministry of Agriculture, during 2024, Russian agricultural producers reduced the volume of purchases of key types of agricultural machinery. Experts believe that this trend will remain in direction in the future.
